Park in Pavlovsk by Ivan Shishkin

The whole picture is very beautiful, spacious, lively. In the center there is a small quiet river. The day is so calm and windless that there is not the slightest fluctuation of the water. The entire river resembles one continuous mirror slightly covered with fallen leaves.

It is clear from the trees that autumn has already come. The leaves have turned yellow-red shades and begin to fall slowly on the green grass. Blond, slightly bent over the river, the birch has already put on an autumn golden dress. Because of the trees, the blue sky is slightly tarnished by white clouds. All nature enjoys the last warm days of autumn and tries to absorb as much as possible its beauty, spontaneity and refinement.

In all this beauty, I am most struck by the river. So realistic and I would even say photographed it is depicted. It reflects the entire beauty of the park. Blurred banks, dangling braids of grass, reflection of trees and bushes and a piece of light sky. Everything is depicted so accurately, believably and realistically, which resembles a large modern snapshot and one can not even believe that everything is written with a sensitive human hand. Do not admire this picture is impossible.
