The canvas is presented in the form of an elongated oval, which, according to Picasso’s thoughts, should evoke the image of a violin in the viewer’s head. To prove that the picture shows exactly the violin, the artist attaches small wooden chips to it, which by themselves remind the viewer that this is a real violin that only a person deeply thinking can contemplate.
The artist lived a very long life, closely linking it with art. He passed through most of his sections, but it was Cubism that became his highest point of perfection.
