View of the Golden Horn by Ivan Aivazovsky

Early morning. Sea. The sea is full of calm. To the shore moored boats with people – some have just come up, others are preparing to sail, – it’s most likely the fishermen, some early went to sea, and already swim back, and others just go to catch fish. On the shore, here and there, groups of people walk around. are the buyers of fish. Above along the bank of a tree clump, pyramidal poplars stretch towards the sky. And then the mountains, dissolving in the morning haze. To the right on the mountain there is a city, an even higher fortress at the very edge of the rock.

Not far from the shore a sailboat with dangling sails. The shore is still covered in darkness, and the city and fortress on the rock are already lit by the hot southern sun. The high sky clears from the clouds that go into the distance, beyond the mountains. Emerald green, blue-blue, golden-pink colors seem to shimmer, changing from one color to another and creating a joyful picture of the morning.
