
Oliver Goldsmith, a writer and literary critic, was a member of the Club organized by Reynolds and Johnson.
In 1762 he published the book “The Citizen of the World”, which immediately made him famous in literary circles in London. And in the early 1770s, he was already a recognized authority, a master.
