The work belongs to the iconographic type of Affection. The icon is quite close to the “Tenderness of Yaroslavl”, but with a number of differences, the most radical of which is the movement of the left handle of the baby lying on Maria’s shoulder.
This detail makes the work rare in iconography. The monument represents an unconditional artistic, historical, cultural and museum value.
