Naked Man by Lucien Freud

Naked Man by Lucien Freud

Compositional decision of the painting “Naked Man” by the English artist Lucien Freud is non-standard. What we see in some of his paintings, it would be disgusting, if it were not worked so talented.

A red soft carpet on the floor; back to the viewer on the white ottoman is sitting naked sitter. The back is wide, on the sides – fat folds. The work resembles a simple studio sketch, but the simplicity of the plan only confirms the skill of the artist.
