Painting of the Italian painter Sebastian Ricci “Meeting of Bacchus and Ariadne”. The size of the picture is 76 x 63 cm, oil on canvas. Florentine masterpieces of Sebastiano Ricci, his frescoes of mythological themes in the Palazzo Maruchelli-Fenzi and Palazzo Pitti had a great influence on the Florentine Rococo style painter Giovanni Domenico Ferretti.

In 1708, Ricci returned to Venice and completed the painting “Madonna with Child and Saints”. In 1709, the artist created a canvas of the historical genre “The Family of Darius before Alexander.”

In 1711, working in collaboration with his nephew, also the famous artist Marco Ricci, he created two canvases: “Esther before Artaxerxes” and “Moses, found in the waters of the Nile.”
