The full name of the painting is “Allegory of France in the image of Wisdom or Minerva, trampling on Ignorance and crowning the militant Virtue”. This canvas by the artist Sebastian Ricci is also known under the titles “Victory of Wisdom over Ignorance” and “Triumph of Sciences”.

The painting was painted by the painter for the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris, where it was approved with approval. Artist Sebastian Ricci glorified the creation of the Academy in the film as the patroness of art. During the Great French Revolution of 1789, the painting was moved to the Louvre Museum.
