
The Miracle of the Jealous Husband, a fresco performed by the Italian Renaissance painter Titian, completed in 1511, as part of the Scuola del Santo decoration in Padua, northern Italy.
She depicts a man striking his wife after she was unfairly accused of adultery. When a person discovers the truth, he asks for the forgiveness of St. Anthony, who reanimates the woman. The idyllic background is inspired by Giorgione’s paintings.
