The canvas is marked by the picturesque and compositional features typical of some chamber portraits of PS Drozhdin.

Extremely bright warm coloristic scale, reminiscent of pastel portraits of the XVIII century. The image fills almost the entire canvas, on which there is some “tightness”, since the portrait is closely pushed to the oval frame.
