Morning. At sea, a light, barely noticeable breeze. Fishermen have already gone out to catch fish – who is on the sailboat, who is on a simple boat. In the distance, Vesuvius rises, and above it rises the hot southern sun, flooding the golden light all around. The sky is still covered with loose white clouds.

Very talented artist showed gentle transitions of color – from dark blue, almost black, at the edge of the picture, to blue-blue and golden-pink, – in the distance.

The picture is full of the charm of quiet reverie, dreaminess.
