The size of the painting is 400 x 167 cm, oil on canvas. Another name for the painting “St. Francis of Paola Resurrects a Child”. Sketch in the National Art Gallery in Washington. From 1712 to 1716, Sebastiano Ricci worked with his nephew Marco in London.

Under the contract, for only 770 pounds sterling, the two of them wrote a series of paintings on mythological plots for Lord Burlington.

By order of the Earl of Portland, Ricci wrote a fresco in the shrine of the Duke of Chendos in Cannons.
