Alphonse Mucha is a Czech artist, master of advertising and theater posters. He worked in the Art Nouveau style, was a great schedule and colorist. His name is little known in our country, but all over the world he is honored as an outstanding representative of the Art Nouveau style. Art Nouveau is a decorative ornamental style, elements of which go back to Japanese culture.

These elements were modified and introduced to the new style by master ceramics F. Brakmon. Alphonse Mucha has managed to build this style of worship. The symbol of Art Nouveau are floral motifs, curved flowing lines, stylized natural shapes that have no shadow. Alphonse Mucha developed this style and the figures of young beautiful graceful girls, inscribed in the system of symbols, floral motifs and arabesques, became a mark of his creativity.

There was even the name of the artist’s work – “style flies”, which was distributed throughout Europe. The main technique in which the artist worked was lithography. In 1898, the artist created a series of decorative panels, entitled “Flowers”. It consists of four paintings depicting a rose, carnation, lily and iris. The flower is presented in the image of a beautiful girl, the shape and plastic of which resembles a certain flower, and also conveys emotions and mood from each flower depicted.

The painting “Iris” is a vertical canvas, which depicts a graceful girl in a light robe, covering a perfectly folded figure, surrounded by many colors of iris. The curls of reddish hair on the girl’s head resemble the iris petals, and the plastic of her body is a delicate flower in general. The panel is made in warm colors with small inserts of blue. Creativity Alphonse flies has its own individual unique style. Through his decorative works, he conveyed love to people.
