The icon is unique in the icon of the Jerusalem temple with its open gates and a raised veil, with trees on the facade symbolizing paradise. Rare for its time is the profile image in the round window of the building on the left.
Composition, figure and proportions of figures, types of faces find the closest analogies in the frescoes of the Spassky Cathedral of the Transfiguration Monastery in Yaroslavl in 1563-1564, and also in a number of icons of undoubtedly Yaroslavl origin.
Good preservation, the presence of rare and unique iconographic details, the brightness of the expression of the characteristic features of Yaroslavl iconography give the monument a significant artistic, historical and cultural and museum value
