
It depicts, perhaps, a very specific Moscow street, painted from nature, a light rain and people doing exactly what they do during a light rain: who keeps his dress under a canopy, who shelters an umbrella, who is more tightly wrapped in a scarf or more securely pushes the hood over his head, and who, neglecting the bad weather, quietly goes his way.
No matter what the single plot, the more subordinate to the expression of the general idea that has taken possession of the author, is not here. Everyone in itself, with others does not mix and does not care about them, as it happens on the street.
