The association of traveling art exhibitions, which played a huge role in the development of Russian art, gave the artist the opportunity among other things to become known to a greater number of art lovers and contributed in many cases to a stable material situation.
Therefore, it was especially attractive for young artists who share the basic position of the partnership – to portray the truth of Russian life. Perhaps, and this contributed to the fact that a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Nikolai Dmitrievich Kuznetsov already in 1883 becomes a member of the partnership. In the measure, a well-known and talented artist has mastered many kinds of pictorial mastery.
