Native window by Natalia Goncharova

This penetratingly thin, unsophisticated plot is full of sincerity, warmth. Before us is just a window of the old house – with a cracked wooden frame, peeling paint. On the window behind the glass is the familiar village geranium. At the edge of the open window, a pet is sitting – a motley cat. From the street, bright rows of rowan trees with carved leaves knock on the window, among them the green leaves of the birch are “lost” in some places. The combination of white-blue, blue and red tones creates a joyful mood – from a meeting with a close friend from childhood, the stepfather’s house.
