Waves of the ocean with white lambs rolled on the yellow beach sand, to the very horizon the water sparkled with bright turquoise. A woman dressed in elegant light clothes gathered seashells together with her nine-year-old son. Nothing foreshadowed troubles, when a strong wind rose and the sky darkened dangerously. We see in the picture how the boy turned frightened, still not understanding what was happening.
The memory of childhood horror was reflected in the picture of American artist Gaius Johnson “Mom and I picking seashells in 1936 in Daytona Beach, Florida,” when a huge tornado twisted tons of water, picked them up and a black dragon flew over the ocean. The work is done in the style of pop art.
