In the picture “In the sweet heavens” American American artist Hyperrealist Will Cotton depicted a girl who luxuriates in pink clouds and though through these clouds a real blue sky can be seen, the girl lies only on cotton candy – the artist’s favorite material created by his own hands in his workshop.
The lightness of the air space harmoniously merges with the materiality of frothy clouds from sweet cotton wool and a smooth elastic atlas of the maiden body. It is easy and natural for the resting “princess of dreams” to stay in the fantasy dreams of the fantasy artist, with a slightly mocking smile that looks at the viewer from the picture.
