The painting “In the Cave of Ice Cream” is painted in warm colors, despite the huge amount of white. The warmth of the picture is attached to the chocolate: it spreads, envelops and warms the space of the picture. The frozen and, as it were frozen, figure of the girl is perceived as a natural condition of any confectionery masterpiece.
The artist emphasized the beauty of the chocolate body with a few picturesque smears of frozen cream on the swarthy skin of a young model.
