Bruce Pennington’s works are characterized by courage of painting techniques, harmonious combination of colors, unexpectedness of compositional decisions. Bruce Pennington designed the covers of the novels of famous science fiction writers Isaac Asimov, Clark Smith, Robert Heinlein and other recognized science fiction authors.

In the painting “Dysan”, Bruce Pennington depicted the lands of an unfamiliar planet covered with sharp wavy hills. An endless line of lance-armed people stretches across cracked, withered land along monotonous stone dunes. The eternal knights of eternity, they seem to go like this over the centuries. The wind flutters the red cloak of the leader, the sky in purple clouds resembles a raging ocean.
