The painting “Picnic Table in Winter” by American photorealist Scott Pryor depicts a meadow in the park and a forgotten picnic table at this time of year. A low winter sun breaks through dark green spruces and bare trees. Thick haze gives it a red-yellow tint.
It was a hot summer – a fun time when there were a lot of people in the forest; and here and there a loud laughter rang out, children rushed to race. The table was covered with a bright tablecloth, fragrant fruit crowded on plates, it smelled of roasted meat and wine… Then there was a yellow, busy autumn, and now winter is peace and a long sleep under a white blanket.
