Against the backdrop of Renaissance architecture, one story is presented from the life of King David, described in the Old Testament. When Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah who was at war, was expecting a child from King David, Uriah was summoned to Jerusalem to receive a letter to the supreme commander, who ordered Uriah to be put in mortal danger, which eventually became disastrous for him. “And this was the work that David did, evil in the eyes of the Lord,” sums up the Old Testament.
