Taiga in the Urals. Blue Mountain by Apollinarius Vasnetsov

The originality of the creative path of the artist is finally determined in the 1890s.

After numerous trips across the North and the Urals, Vasnetsov created a cycle of unique landscapes of great epic sound and scope: “Taiga in the Urals, Blue Mountain”, “Mountain Lake, Ural Mountains”, “Siberia”, “Kama”, “Lake in the Mountain Bashkiria” and others.

In these paintings and sketches, the boundless expanses of our Motherland are imprinted, and the coloring of different geographical landscapes is surprisingly conveyed in them.
