In the center are depicted: the Lord of hosts in glory, with the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove in the bosom; lower – Emanuel the Savior, who sits on cherubs, in glory supported by two angels; in his right hand – tetramorph, in the left – a scroll with the text.
There are two angels on the sides that hold the sun and the moon, and two more angels, against the background of tall buildings, the left angel with a censer. Below is the song “Do not sob Mene Mathi”. Below the left, the angel beats the defeated and crossed Satan.
On the cross, Christ is seated in the form of a warrior in armor, from whose sight the crowd of uncleans is trying to hide in a black cave. To the right below are animals that devour sinners, and death with a scythe on the apocalyptic beast. The composition is composed on the text of the chant, performed at the Liturgy of John Chrysostom. The icon is a monument of Palekh painting of the XIX century. It represents iconographic interest, it has artistic significance.
