Trouville is a seaside resort in Normandy. It pleases the eyes of the wealthy tourists with the exquisite architecture of their villas of the early 20th century.
Galleries and antique shops are found in it at every turn: there are not so many works of art “per capita”, perhaps, in any other European city. The city, called the “king of the beaches”, attracted not only Parisian aristocrats, but also people of art with its charm. Izabey, Monet, Boudin and Pissarro found here inspiration for their paintings.
