Mars and Venus, overtaken by the gods by Joachim Ethewal

According to the myths of the ancient Greeks, all the gods on Olympus were in love with Venus, but by the will of fate she became the wife of Vulcan – the most skilful, old and ugly of all gods. This marriage, apparently, and predetermined the love of the goddess Venus. Many myths indicate that she gave birth to children from other gods, including Mars, Mercury and Dionysus.
