Gerhard Richter is not indifferent to rural landscapes. A light morning mist descended on the village, on low houses, kitchen gardens. Nature sleeps, silence has not yet been disturbed by the cries of roosters and the mooing of cows. Only once in a while a dog will bark, and then, as if having recollected itself, it will become silent. Dawn is coming soon.
