In the center of the picture the cook sitting on a chair, was thinking about something, her hard-working hands stopped. In front of her there is a cauldron with polished vegetables, immediately a radiant copper frying pan, a dark sooty cauldron, a huge log for cutting meat, an ax on it.

Each subject in the painting is written with love and interest. It feels that the cook is not burdened by her leisurely work, she cooks and fries with pleasure, and her thoughts are simple and understandable.

The picture is full of special wisdom, quiet joy; she praises hard work, kindness and spiritual nobility.
