Dated in 1912. Signed right below: A. Korin 1912. Before the Great Patriotic War, the painting was in the collection of the Stalin City Art Gallery. In 1941-1945 years. was kept by the local artist Ye. E. Greylikh, in 1945 she entered the Kiev Museum of Russian Art.
In 1975 it was returned to DOSHM. The picture came in DOHM under the name “The girl on the couch”. The author’s name was restored according to the illustrated catalog of the 41st exhibition of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. The daughter of the artist Tatiana Korina is depicted in his workshop.
