The Lot of Seven by Forest Edwards

The Lot of Seven by Forest Edwards

Wood Edwards studied at the Art College from 1968 to 1972, in which, he said, he was directly stated that the general opinion of the teaching staff, he could never become an illustrator. Teachers of the college have considered, that to Wood Edwards such work will appear not on forces.

But, contrary to the unpredictable predictions of former mentors immediately after graduating from high school, Edwards was accepted by the Young Artists Agency in London as a freelance illustrator. The career of the artist went up steeply, thanks to the enthusiasm and hard work of Edward’s Forest. His fruitful activity included cooperation with advertising campaigns, illustrating novels, and even working as a production designer in the making of the film.

But the greatest recognition Les Edwards received for the design of the dustbin of publications in the style of fantasy, horror and science fiction. At first glance, the picture of Edward’s Forest “The Lot of Seven” resembles childhood tales, which are both scary and attractive mysterious. But this tale, rather, for adults. The lights burn inside the ruined chapel in the cemetery at midnight. Seven mysterious figures in dark robes head past the cemetery crosses to the chapel. Bredut habitually and obediently one after another, obeying the order of the invisible master.

The keepers of the seven sacraments. The heavy burden of the obligations taken upon them in a moment of desperation, gathered them together and makes you come at night to the cemetery and do the will of your master, the lord of darkness.
