British illustrator Les Edwards, known for his work in the field of science fiction, fantasy genres and horror, was born in 1949. During his creative period, the artist created a lot of sketches for superblocks, calendars of fantasy, magazines and board games. Along with his own name, Les Edwards uses in the art circles the pseudonym Edward Miller to be able to work in different styles and go beyond the conventional limitations established when working with the genre of horror.

The British Foundation Fantasy Foundation award in the nomination “Best Artist” was awarded to Wood Edwards seven times; also the artist-illustrator was awarded the World Prize in the field of painting fantasy and fantasy in 2008. A large series of paintings in the genre of fantasy, written by Les Edwards using a palette of predominantly red and bright orange colors. Fantastic worlds in Edwards’ works are often attractively romantic. Despite the predominance of alarming red, they leave a sense of harmony and peace in the spectator’s soul.
