Garik David – the famous English actor, performed at the theater “Drury Lane.” One of the reformers of the scene and the founder of realism in the European theater. He became famous in plays by W. Shakespeare. At 32, David Garrick married the famous German dancer Eva Maria Violette.

The bride and groom were of different denominations, so the wedding ceremony was held twice: first in the Anglican church, and then in the Catholic church. “Mademoiselle Violet”, as Eve was called by the audience, left the scene and became a faithful assistant to her husband.

David and Eve did not part for 30 years of living together. They were very fond of children, but fate did not give them to this family. Then they completely devoted themselves to nephews – the children of brother David, George. His sons and daughters forced to forget about their grief and made them happy.

David spent his entire life on the stage and it seems that his age was making him more talented and talented. He was rich and left his whole state after his death to his wife and nephews.
