From an early age, the artist worked extremely fruitfully as an engraver, mainly in the technique of copper engraving, creating such outstanding works as Muhammad and the monk, Korovnitsa, Xie Man, Calvary, Dance of Mary Magdalene. Later also turned to etching and woodcuts; these works are distinguished by bright genre observation, amazing expression of the stage scenes.
