Modern myths about sinister dark worlds or the very possible future of our planet. In the picture of Tim White, “Dark Realms,” ridiculous structures, similar to melted piles of scrap metal, look like the consequences of a terrible universal catastrophe. Among snowdrifts of white fluffy snow, a man wrapped in a dark veil, lonely and homeless, is the only living character that animates the lifeless space of the picture. Fantastic scenery is given to the fabulous warm colors of the creamy sky and evening blue shadows on the snow.
