The study of the colors painted by Boshart and other artists of the time shows that such bouquets were rarely written from nature.
Often in bouquets you can see flowers that blossom in different seasons of the year. They were written on samples, sketches, so you can often see the same flower, shell or insect in different pictures. This manner of creating fragments was continued by later artists.
