This is the last work of Pete Mondrian, unfinished due to the death of the artist.
Although the work of Mondrian of the 1920s and 1930s is distinguished by academic rigor, this piece looks bright, vibrant and rhythmic. This is because the artist drew inspiration from the music. The “boogie-woogie victory” was created in anticipation of the end of the Second World War.
