For still life Van Gogh “Irises” characteristic contrast image of yellow and blue, their special coloristic combination. In irises soft rounded shape, partly echoing with smooth blurred outlines of the vase. The image resembles a wavy colorful irises flow of color that recreates the atmosphere dynamics, overflow, transfusion coloristic power of the web. At the same time comes the impression of fragility, lightness, “porosity” picture.
Particularly well developed picture of the iris flower. Strokes white draw in detail depth and expression to the shadows, volume and tenderness complex inflorescences. The predominance of blue hues in the color image is not of a total character. Rather, we can say that the blue irises softened tonally different combinations of ocher, yellow and blue.
Writing figure vase slightly shifted to the right, with similar artistic solution backed up by redundant “liveliness” and pomp drawing bouquet on the left side of the web. Far monochrome plan has a local solution and colored with yellow color that looks pretty simple, ascetic, coloristic monosyllables. Shadow pattern is not discharged, minimized the laws of classical construction of light and shade.
“Irises” amazing brightness and dynamic visuals, expressive colors, in which there is a deep power of color and line drawing. Canvas Vincent Van Gogh different from many academic works of classical painting, and in addition, the majority of the works of Impressionist art. Despite this, his work is full of vitality.
The main feature of the creative method of Van Gogh serves brightness, sometimes aggressive, colors, lines, the thrill, the feeling of “chatter” image created in the picture. In Van Gogh’s work life is irresistible, like a stream of consciousness or restless turbulent swarm of thoughts, ideas, whose beauty still need to be able to feel and appreciate.
